Juan Luis Bonilla
Juan Luis began acting at the age of 6 in a school function as an extracurricular activity. A few years after, he joined the theater school in his village, where he stayed from 8 to 13 years old. Then, after being a victim of child abuse by a teacher in the school, he left the theater school to began in the dubbing industry after going to a Disney Channel stand on a fair about the new digital TV. After people saw his talent in voice acting, he decided to learn to dub and sound design. In 2013, he went to an audition for a web series, and he showed he could act in more languages than just Spanish. Since then, he became a recognized voice in that business.
His nickname is Jens (or Mr. Jens) a name that was given to him after a tour as an illusionist, one of his skills.
Becoming a writer during the COVID-19 pandemic, he wrote the children's tale "El Sapo Príncipe" (The Toad Prince), an illustrated book which talks about what bullying is. Now, he's working on the project "Sonrisa Invisible" (Invisible Smile), where he talks about depression on kids and teenagers.
Jens is also known as someone with a golden heart, being an artist who gives 70% of his salary as an actor, and 50% of the royalties from his books to foundations and NGO's related with the protection of children.
