Nestor Sierra

Nestor is proud to be a United States Marine Corps veteran. He grew up speaking English and Spanish. His interest in the arts started at a very young age, when he explored dancing, painting, singing, writing, and acting. From elementary school through high school, he participated in every play he could land a role. As an adult, he continued studying languages, especially Italian and French, both in the Americas and Europe. He spent several years working as a professional translator. He worked in school and medical settings as a Spanish interpreter, as he did in Monroe County Supreme Court and Queens and Brooklyn Family and Criminal Courts. Nonetheless, years later, he returned to his artistic roots and studied acting at Academia Charlot in Colombia, at the Florence Movie Academy in Italy and, most recently, at the New York Film Academy (NYFA) in Los Angeles, California. At NYFA, he pursued a career in Acting for Film, and in 2020, he attained his Bachelors in Fine Arts with Summa Cum Laude recognition. In 2022, he decided to include producing and filmmaking in the mix and he studied Digital Filmmaking at the San Francisco Filmmaking School. He has already written, directed and produced several short films, both comedy and drama. Never willing to part ways with his acting core, he has also acted in said films. Born in the United States and raised in Colombia, South America, this actor keeps exploring the diverse world in which he lives. With a command of English and Spanish, an intermediate knowledge of French and Italian, and a beginner level of Brazilian Portuguese and Greek, this multicultural and multiethnic artist takes more than a serious approach to his craft. He develops characters, while loving and respecting the complex environments from which they come. His ultimate accomplishment can only be manifested as the due diligence he pays the character by discovering its truth and living its life, so that such may be revealed before the camera. Having traveled and spent time in every continent, Nestor has had first hand exposure to the realities with which others are confronted on a day to day basis. His charisma and desire for higher human intellect and purpose are the ingredients that will contribute to take your film to the next level.
