Jose Dumont was born in Bananeiras, a small city in Paráiba, Brazil. In the early 70s he started working in the theatre. He soon started in the cinema too. His first film was "Morte e Vida Severina", a very successful musical in Brazil. His next movie was "Lúcio Flávio, Passageiro da Agonia". In 1980, at Gramado Festival, he got a prize for best supporting actor for "Gajin - Os Caminhos da Liberdade". One year later, he got two best actor prizes for "O Homem que Virou Suco": the Candango and another Gramado. Another Best Actor Gramado Prize came to him in 1984, for "O Baiano Fantasma". For this film he was also awarded a prize at Havana Festival. Another Candago prize for best actor came to him in 1985, for his work in "A Hora da Estrela". In 1998 he was given two more prizes: another Candago and a Miami Festival Award for "Kenoma". "Narradores de Javé" gave Dumont two more awards for best actor in Recife and in Rio de Janeiro.

José Eduardo Belmonte is one of the most active directors of Brazilian audiovisual industry. In more than two decades of professional activity, he directed main Brazilian and Latin American actors in dozens of critically acclaimed films and TV series. He has eight feature films and three more in post-production. Belmonte won the fiction competition of the Rio de Janeiro Festival 2008 and the Paris Brazilian Film Festival with the drama "Se nada mais der certo", which also earned Caroline Abras the best actress award at both festivals and Cauã Reymond the best actor award at festivals in Miami, Los Angeles and Toronto. Filmmaker's biggest box office , "Alemão" in Brazil drew over one million viewers in theaters in 2014. Adapted three years later for television, earned an Emmy nomination. Blockbuster sequel, is set to debut on screen in 2022. On television, José Eduardo Belmonte also built a successful career. Among the main achievements is the artistic direction of the "Carcereiros" series, one of the biggest audience hits of recent times in Rede Globo. The only Latin American selected in 2017 for the Cannes MIPDrama Screenings (one of the world's leading television fairs), first episode of Season 1 of "Carcereiros" won the Grand Jury competition, an unprecedented achievement for Brazilian audiovisual. Belmonte also directed of HBO Latin America's El Hipnotizador series, starring Leonardo Sbaraglia ("Dolor y Gloria") and featuring actors as Cesar Troncoso, Chino Darín and Marilu Marini. Born in 1970 in São José dos Campos (SP) and based in Rio de Janeiro, José Eduardo Belmonte has a degree in cinema from the University of Brasilia and began his career as an assistant director for Nelson Pereira dos Santos, one of the biggest names in the history of 20th century Brazilian cinema.

José Elías Moreno

José Elías Moreno was born on June 13, 1956 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. He is the son of the Mexican actor, producer and director José Elías Moreno and Beatriz Gonzalez de Cossio. His sister is the Mexican actress Beatriz Moreno and she also appears on television. In 1969, when he was 13 years old, his parents and maternal grandmother died in a car accident when the family traveled to his home on the road to Cuautla, Morelos. He and his sisters went to live with their aunt and uncle. Then, he went to live at the home of Mexican actor Julio Alemán, a great friend of his father and he was named the executor of the minors. He debuted as an actor in 1975 starring in the movie Supervivientes de los Andes. In 1977, he starred in the telenovela Marcha nupcial. He also starred in more movies throughout his career. He is more commonly known for starring in telenovelas like in; Amor en silencio, Amor de nadie, De frente al sol, Sentimientos ajenos, Morir dos veces, Rubí, Sueños y caramelos, Heridas de amor, Pasión, Juro que te amo, Camaleones, Amor Bravio, Quiero Amarte, and many others. He is married to Maru and they have 3 children: Elías, María, and Andrea.
