Claire Hesselgrave was born in Seattle, Washington. She grew up a dancer, studying everything from ballet to flamenco. Through dance she found theater, and in acting she found her joy. She received her BFA in Acting from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC. In Vancouver Claire grew into the professional actor she is today. She toured shows across the country, performed Shakespeare in repertory, and began her film career. Claire was drawn to the challenge of the MFA program at George Washington University in DC. She went back to school, worked her ass off, and came back to Vancouver with her master's. She has been working between Vancouver and Los Angeles since.
