Katy Rachel Moore
Katy trained as an actress with the Bristol Old Vic Youth Theatre from her early teens, later going on to attend Bristol Old Vic Theatre School to further study acting. She also achieved a BA Honours degree in Drama and English from Loughborough University, where she refined her presenter chops, working for the University TV and Radio channel. She was also an active member of the National Youth Theatre whilst in the UK. In Australia, she's continued her ongoing training with advanced acting courses at NIDA, Sreenwise and she currently attends Advanced acting classes at the esteemed AMAW (Anthony Meindl technique) studio. She's also a regular at Casting Director workshops and Masterclasses in Sydney.
Born in Bristol, UK, and now living and working in Sydney, Australia as an actor, voiceover and presenter her TV credits include Bali 2002 (Stan, 2022), Ten Pound Poms (BBC, 2022) and Paper Dolls (Paramount/Channel 10, 2023). Short film credits include playing the role of Laura in Gist, currently appearing on the festival circuit, and recent commercial credits include 2DAY FM and YOUI Insurance. As a VoiceOver Artist Katy has voiced dubbing for films, children's books, presenting segments, dramatisations and commercials. Recent clients include 'Library for All' children's books, EV Brief car podcasts, and drama series 'No Place Like Holmes', 'The Chronies'. Katy's regularly presents for Studio 10, EV Brief car web series, as well as for numerous other corporate and commercial clients. She thrives at live presenting, but can also work seamlessly with a script and a Teleprompter. Katy's side projects also include playing Sady in 'Like Nearly Famous', a comedy series currently in development which is largely improvised in a documentary-style mini-series.
