Elli Avrram
Elli AvrRam was born Elisabet Avramidou Granlund and grew up in Tyresö Kommun, Stockholm. AvrRam's mother and aunt run a theatre in Skåne County, Sweden, where she received training in acting. She studied at the Frans Schartau High School, Stockholm, and got a degree in social economics.
Since childhood, AvrRam had always wanted to become an actress in the Indian film industry. When she was 17 years old, she used to perform Hindi movie dance songs while she was a part of the Pardesi Dance Group in Stockholm.
She debuted with the Swedish movie Förbjuden Frukt (2008), playing Selen, the main character's girlfriend. She also appeared on a Swedish show Gomorron Sverige (1977) and was a contestant for Miss Greece 2010.
In September 2012, AvrRam moved to Mumbai and collaborated with a modelling agency to get her work visa. She landed her first big advertisement with Akshay Kumar in an ad for Eveready Industries India.
AvrRam finally got her Bollywood break featuring in a lead role in the film Mickey Virus (2013), which was directed by Saurabh Varma. That year, she also participated as a contestant in Bigg Boss (2006) and was evicted on the 70th day.
AvrRam went on to appear in several TV shows, including as a contestant on the dance show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (2006) and Box Cricket League (2014), as a guest in Bigg Boss (2006) and Bigg Boss (2006), and as a host on The Great Indian Laughter Challenge (2005).
She then appeared as Deepika in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015), did a cameo role as Sona in Naam Shabana (2017), and danced to the song Kudiyan Shehar Diyan in the movie Poster Boys (2017).
AvrRam appeared in another song, Billionaire, in the movie Baazaar (2018) with Rohan Mehra and Saif Ali Khan, which got good reviews. She also appeared as Chandani in the song Chamma Chamma for the movie Fraud Saiyyan (2019), which gained more than 15 million YouTube views in three days. Her other performances include Ekta Kapoor's Jabariya Jodi (2019), in which the actress danced to Zilla Hilela with Sidharth Malhotra.
She also featured in three web series in the year 2019, The Verdict - State Vs Nanavati (2019), as Sylvia Nanavati, Typewriter (2019) as Anita, and Inside Edge (2017) as Sandy.
In 2021, AvrRam made her debut in the Tamil movie Naane Varuvean (2022) as Rajalakshmi, with superstar Dhanush. That year, she also performed Har Funn Maula in the film Koi Jaane Na (2021) with Aamir Khan, which exceeded 90 million views on YouTube.
Next, she made her debut in the Kannada movie Butterfly as Vijaylakshmi. She was also seen in Goodbye (2022) as Daisy Bhalla and in Ganapath (2023) as Rosie.
