Divyansha Kaushik

Divyansha Kaushik is an Indian actress and model who mainly works in Telugu films. Kaushik studied at different boarding schools in Dehradun, Mussoorie, and Uttarakhand. After completing her Fashion and Media Communication course in Delhi, she studied makeup artistry by enrolling in a specialised course in England. Kaushik wanted to become a fashion journalist and the editor of Vogue Magazine. Kaushik's mother, a renowned makeup artist who worked with Rani Mukerji, would take her to photoshoots. This inspired her to pursue a profession as a makeup artist instead. Kaushik went on to work as an intern for Yash Raj Films and used to look after the filmmaking and casting procedures. During this time, she participated in a photoshoot, and she immediately started getting offers for modelling, including an advertisement for Pantene. After appearing in advertisements, filmmakers from South India approached Kaushik to join the film industry, which led to her debut in the Telugu film, Majili (2019). The movie was directed by Shiva Nirvana and also starred Naga Chaitanya Akkineni. The film was a hit, and she received a SIIMA award for Best Female Debut. She then debuted in Hindi films with The Wife (2021), in which she plays the role of Katrina Murad. It was directed by Sarmad Khan and starred Gurmeet Choudhary and Shweta Dadhich. In 2022, Kaushik played the lead role in Rama Rao on Duty (2022) alongside Ravi Teja. The action thriller was directed by Sarath Mandava. The following year, Kaushik co-starred with Sundeep Kishan in Michael (2023), which was directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi.
