Darriel Cannon aka FatCat is a 12-year-old Miami Superstar Rapper & Actor. His Hip Hop/Rap style draws influences from artists such as XXXTentacion, Lil Wayne, Drake, Migos, and DJ Khaled. His unique style caught the interest of nickelodeon superstar That Girl Lay Lay, a 13-year-old Hip Hop artist who is the youngest female rapper to sign with a Emphire Record label. "I love music. I want to make music that produces positive energy" said Fatcat during an October 2021 live-podcast interview on Everyday Folk Radio. With 88,000 plus followers on Instagram, Fatcat is an emerging star. His popularity started on social media, which later led to a YouTube channel (Fatcat Cannon) of video content. With nearly 25,000 subscribers, Fatcat's largest viewing featured a video tribute to the late XXXTentacion's "Hope," which garnered over 3.7 million views. Fatcat's freestyle renditions to Megan Thee Stallion and Beyonce "Savage '' went viral on World Start which garnered 3.7 million views. In July 2020, Fatcat performed at the KROK Center in Norfolk, Virginia, to a large audience (following social distancing guidelines).
