Aishwarya Lekshmi
Aishwarya Lekshmi began acting in 2017 and is quite famous in the industry with her recent roles. She did her schooling at Holy Angels' Convent Higher Secondary School in Thiruvananthapuram and Sacred Heart Convent Girls Higher Secondary School in Thrissur. She studied medical science and earned her MBBS degree in 2017 from Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences (SNIMS) in Ernakulam in Kerala.
Lekshmi stepped into the world of modelling in 2014 during her second year of college. She has modelled for various brands, including Akshaya Jewels, Karikkineth Silks, Ezva Boutique, Chemmanur Jewellers, Sri Lakshmi Jewellery, and La Brenda. Lekshmi has also been featured on the covers of magazines like Salt Studio, FWD Life, Flower World, and Vanitha.
While pursuing her MBBS degree, she auditioned for a Nivin Pauly movie in December 2015. It led to her acting debut in the Malayalam movie Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela (2017) in 2017. Her movie debut won her four awards, including the 65th Filmfare Awards South for Best Debut (Female).
Her next movie, Mayaanadhi (2017), was a major success. It earned her a lot of appreciation, along with another set of awards, which included the Kerala Film Critics Association Awards for the Second-Best Actress.
Lekshmi's next two releases, Varathan (2018) and Vijay Superum Pournamiyum (2019), further proved her mettle as an actress. She also won Mazhavil Entertainment Awards for Best Actress and Best Entertaining Pair with Asif Ali (for Vijay Superum Pournamiyum).
Lekshmi made her Tamil debut with Action (2019) opposite Vishal. She went on to appear in movies like Argentina Fans Kaattoorkadavu (2019), Brother's Day (2019), Jagame Thandhiram (2021), Laughing Budha (2021), Kaanekkaane (2021), Putham Pudhu Kaalai: Vidiyaadha (2022), Archana 31 Not Out (2022), Gargi (2022), Captain (2022), Ponniyin Selvan: Part I (2022), Ammu (2022), Kumari (2022), and Gatta Kusthi (2022).
Lekshmi made her Telegu debut with the thriller Godse (2022). Adding to the list, her work in Mani Ratnam's historical action-adventure film Ponniyin Selvan: I, further increased her popularity in the industry.
